Elocution Contest Finals

In November, all of our students participated in our second annual Elocution Contest. This is a contest designed to enhance each child's public speaking skills. Each teacher chooses a poem for the students to memorize in round 1. At the conclusion of the contest, a first, second, and third place winner is selected from each grade.

All first, second, and third place winners then choose their own poem to present at the finals, and after the finals, one champion is chosen from each of the following categories: Pre-K through Fourth Grade and Fifth through Eighth Grade.

Congratulations to the following champions...

Pre-K through Fourth Grade: Aaliyah McNeal

Fifth through Eighth Grade: Mashya Ellis
